The CB9 Elements naturally filters water by removing toxins as it flows through the filter. The CB9 formulation exceeds NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for contaminant reduction. Each package includes two 9" Clearbrook Elements, two washers, two wing nuts, and one priming button. Installation is simple in the upper chamber of any Berkey or Clearbrook system, and the elements are also compatible with most other gravity-fed filter units.

Durability: Each Clearbrook Element is capable of filtering up to 3,000 gallons of water before needing replacement. When used in pairs within a system, they provide a total capacity of approximately 6,000 gallons. The filters are also re-cleanable throughout their lifespan and come with a 6-month pro-rated warranty.
